This can also be used as a side dish. Quinoa is a complete whole grain, rich in fiber, as well as protein. It is an EXCELLENT "heart healthy" food. For those of you who are vegetarians (you probably already know about Quinoa), or for those of you who are trying to live a healthier life style, try Quinoa. My only suggestion, get the PRE-WASHED stuff from your local natural food store. Washing it is a pain in the heiney!
