A real Hot Dog
I WANT ONE!
They have the best meats and cheeses, and now a good friend of mine is selling some of his coffee products there.
All beef hot dogs, potato roll, mustard, ketchup and a dash of onions.........
MMMM MMMM MMMMM
S. Clyde Weavers.
Have you ever tried their smoked pork chops? They are a half inch thick and unreal on the grill.

Marcus, since you live along 72, go into Clyde S Weavers, the one across from the Burger King, not the one by the Giant on 501, they have some of the best brats and dogs around, every bit as good, if not better then the Brats and Dogs from Wisconsin.
And their Apple Sausage Rocks!!!!!!!!!
Oh, tomatoes on a dog are sacrilegious, what’s wrong with you!!!!!!!! Just messing with ya, it actually looks good.
A German Brat, Sauerkraut, Hot Mustard and American Cheese on a amoroso roll !!!!!!!

They are awesome!!!! We visit their MANY locations, as we are located "technically" in Lebanon, but REALLY in Myerstown between 72 and 501, 1/2 mile from 422. We normally visit their locations at the Lebanon Farmers Market as well as Roots' Market. However, when I was looking to ship my brother meat and cheese, which he loves, while he was in Iraq, only S. Clyde Weaver would and could do!!!!![/quote]
Markus,
That is one good looking sandwich. Thats exactly how I like hot dogs, except I usually add on a few olives. When I was working down in Wayne, PA, they had a place down there called Johnnies Dog House. Was just awesome. LINK
I have lived in the Lancaster Area forever, and still have not stopped at S. Clyde Weavers Store. I must do that. Thanks Amy.

Would you please stop! You're making me ravenous!! I'm remembering the delicious bratwursts I had at Schuetzen Park in North Bergen, NJ at the German Festivals back when. Man were they good!
By the way, has anyone ever had Portugese sausage? It's really big in Hawai'i; they have it a lot for breakfast with eggs & rice.
I've been there when I worked in Chicago, decent dog,

One of Chicago's finest
It looks like you have everything on there but the kitchen sink (and THAT may be hiding underneath it).
If I don't have ketchup and mustard on the dog, it has to be chili.
Dang! Now I want that instead of the chicken parm I'm re-heating! Oh well....
Did you order a crate of them again??? uggggghhhhhh
Right to your door. Which I have had done for me as a gift.

Harry,
Thanks for the link. I have passed that place before and noticed it but didn't stop because I had a full stomach. Now I wish I had.
I don't know when Portillo's stopped putting them on but I still love mine with cucumbers.
