I'm So Old
On a highway in a pineapple under the sea with a yellow rose of texas bush
on the highway in a pineapple under the sea?
Um...
I thought he lived in a pineapple under the sea
You live ON the highway?
you are crazy and dangerous....or do you live under the bridge?
Now I can tell my band of invisible friends to head in the right direction.
But my house is just out of the picture to the west. The Hwy I live on is shown though.

I'm too old to read something that small.
Close?

I'm just misplaced. Somebody find me, please.
all used up?
if we wine!
Or we are fermented?
that i no longer have a camera.
but i think i'll get one in the next month or so.
we're not old.. we're.. what's that word... "mature". no, wait... "distinguished". yeah, that's it.
We have an old who is REALLY HAIRY! His back especially. And you know what his name is? Harry! Go figure! Or as Mary and I like to call him "Uncle Stenchie!"

funny yes but oh so true for so many people.... nothing funny-er then the truth
Clay - that was funny as Washington, DC!

I didn't lose any hair, it just retreated to my back.
Be glad you got grey its better then one of the alternatives (though looks like you are already fighting one of them). i wish the grey was the only problem i was fighting with the hair.... in time you will realize that you can grow normal hair everywhere (out the ears, nose, back and bellybutton) but the top of your head... forget it... will mostlikely need some of the hair fertilizer called rogain before too long...
:-]
p.s. never used it - figure if its falling out then thats a good thing - i just haven't figured out why or how yet -
I remember how we used to fight him to goto Rec when we'd have the gym/pool all to ourselves used to hate when we did Senior Hall instead of Catherine.
Oh Washington, DC yeah I remember the fort and the Sinclair's encouraged it.
Don't know what happened to Welsh. I know he retired when everyone else left in the 90s. I miss the Welshmobile.
Mr Welsh was the best. He was so easy on us. Whatever happened to him? Does he still live in Hershey? And I remember the burn pile fort. Do you remember that fort we built out of that big snowdrift between the carport and the Sinclair's apartments? What about going swimming at Senior Hall with Welsh and the inner tubes. We also used the tube to sled down the front of Senior Hall hill. Now that was awesome
Hell...best times at MHS.
Remember Welsh's Friday night...do whatever just make sure you're in bed by midnight?
Kick the Can til like 10 while everyone was outside?
Do you remember the movie night at FH where Sam had guests in. We saw Clint Eastwood's Firefox and then Sam and guests took us to Friendly's "for whatever ice cream you want" and everyone except Steve Urban came with?
Remember the burn pile fort?
Oh yeah, throwing all kinds of crap when Sam would cut the lawn but I think he didn't care b/c he didn't have to deal with Mildred.
Hey Lewis do you remember some of the stuff we did at Jefferson. I remember when Pete Chieffo hit that chipmunk or squirrel from one side of the back porch to the other with a box hockey stick. Or when me and Brent Defillippo kept throwing plastic trash can lids in front of Mr.Sinclair when he was mowing the grass on the riding mower. We would hide in the pine trees so he wouldn't see us or see the lids coming. Or remember this famous phrase, "Good Morning Boys, Time to rise." then he would walk down the hall and say good morning to everyone. Oh those were they days.
The Peterman's were the best. Very fair, very caring, but would light ur butt up when you deserved it. Mr. was a great man (R.I.P.) Miss him.
Oh yea the ponies were alot of fun, every time they were being rode and saw the stable they would take off at full blast back to it. Once I was riding one of them and the saddle was loose and it took off running at full speed and went around a pine tree, as it was turning the saddle slid off to the side and I went face first through the branches. HURT LIKE Washington, DC! We used to love to take the girls from Franklin and the other girls homes for rides around the circle....
I used to love to spend time in the big rocks off to the right of the student home, we used to play army men hiding amongst the rocks.
The Peterman's were a cool set of h/p's but Fess c'mon the Sinclair's let us get away with murder and the Welshmobile? We had the best unit in Intermediate's. Haven't forgotten the horses but never rode them. Fess, ya don't look old I'll trade u ur gray for my lines.
Yes I was in Jefferson. I remember the Petermans. I used to love going to Washington because they were the coolest houseparents in the national cluster, along with the Cannon's who were at Adams. And I remember riding the horses there. I got to ride them and feed them in the summer. One took off running so fast on me I almost flew off. I had totally forgotten about those horses until someone brought them up.Yes I look old in this pic. Look at all the grey. I wish I was 21 again. The good thing is I don't feel old.
when I was in Franklin. I remember because a good looking fellow named Craig Montgomery used to come to the edge of that student homes property, where it met ours, and talk to a friend of mine!
Steve,
You brought back a memory there. I was at Washington with the Petermans. They were cool. Did they still have the horses there when you were there. I believe they were Lollipop and Sugar or something like that. I remember the first time I rode a horse there. Someone scared the crap out of the horse and he took off running. Throwing me to the ground and knocking the wind out of me. I believe once I caught my breath I chased down the Scarer of the horse (don't even remember who it was) and punched him right in the middle of his back and knocked the wind out of him. Man was I mad. Boys will be Boys I guess. The good old days... I do remember the Petermans being very cool houseparents though.
Thanks.

I must be ancient! Cuz I'm a year older than you! UGH!
Tree88
You were in Jefferson weren't you? I remember you spending time with us at Washington with the Petermans I believe during summer vacation while your houseparents were away on vacation. And the great softball and soccer games. You used to do some facial expressions that used to crack me up.
It shows your personality well!!!
I'm older than you.
How's life old friend?
