Mother & Daughter
Merideth, do you have that picture? Is there anyone from Evergreen in it?
I hated that day.
I remember Ernie and I playing with He-Man action figures in school listening to Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil in English. That would have been like 1984 or 85 (7th grade)
Linda,
I'm so glad to hear Ernie is doing well.
And you hit the nail on the head. It is funny to look back, but I would NEVER go back. I absolutely love where life's journey has taken me. I have true friends who I admire and respect, a family that I absoutely love and adore and a career that has remained fun and interesting. It is exciting to think about what lies ahead in the journey! I am so greatful for all that is in the past, I appreciate the lessons learned, but greatful that it stays exactly where it is!

yes I remember in Middle School where ALOT of girls were in love with Ernie. I got a lot of older friends because of that fact. haha He was in Student home Birchland in the Woodland Cluster, he is married now for about ten years, with a 18 month old son Ryan who is so cute, looks alot like Ernie did as a baby. He has the usual life struggles as we all do, but over all he has a great wife and beautiful baby. I remember Chrissy Crumb, Jean Downs, Meredith,Marissa, Marcella, and some I cannot remember who had a thing for him. I think Meredith was the one who really had his heart back then, being that he gave up a tight friendship with Jim Banyas because of his jealousy. It is fun looking back, but also seeing how we have all grown up and found our true loves, and made beautiful families.
Linda, I remember that face. He was so cute. I have a picture of him a his student home van with Jim Banyas and several others. He had sunglasses on, looking very cool. We were at a rest stop on the way home from Mike Bolt's funeral, freshman year. Seems like yesterday.
Meredith
Linda,
I remember being "in love" with Ernie pretty much all through Intermediate Division, along with every other girl! I was so jealous of Marcella McDonald and Peggy McCracken who both ended up "dating" him. Peggy and I actually became best friends after that until her passing in the summer of 88, or was it 89. I don't quite recall. I was in Franklin, and Ernie was in my cluster for a while (I think he was in the student home right above ours with John Savikas.)
Anyway, you used the word "was" mostly down hill. Are you using past tense in that he is doing much better now? I certainly hope that is the case rather the other alternative for the use of the past tense.
You most certainly have a gorgeous family!

I think this was in Florida, and I believe I was five or six at the oldest, so that would be 78 or 1979 that this was taken. Is your sister Katie Kilpatrick? I knew her. Unfortunately Ernie got himself kicked out of the school his junior year. Which is a shame, because we were in the school since I was 4 and Ernie was 6. His life was mostly down hill after he left. Mike is doing well, Married with four kids. He lives in Downingtown Pa.
What year was that picture taken? How long were you guys in the Milt? I am assuming it was in the late 70's cause Mike graduated the year before me and Ernie graduated the year after my sister, Katie.
That is a big honkin piece of gum in my brothers mouth. that is Mike Fox c/o '84. And Ernie...missin a tooth there in the front. I think me and Frankenstein are the best lookin ones in the photo!haha
Amazing!
uncanny, actually!

I remember when I was in third and fourth grade, we weren't aloud to have tape players and such, so when my brother used to tell me AC/DC was his favorite band and Motley Crue, I began telling others that they were my favorite, acting like I knew who they were...Obviously I had no clue and have never ever even listened to them. It is just funny how older siblings have that quality that we the younger ones think they are so cool and want to be like them...that is until we grow up a little.
