Re: 2009 Election of 2010-2012 MHSAA Directors - Nomination Deadline

In the recently circulated "Thy Traditions Dear" the deadline for nomination of Milton Hershey School Alumni Association directors was incorrect. The deadline for nominations for the four Alumni Association Board of Director positions for the three year term from 2010 through 2012 is July 11, 2009 (not June 11, 2009 as previously reported in the latest "Thy Traditions Dear").
Forms for nomination in Adobe Acrobat and in Microsoft Word formats are attached. Your completed form can be faxed to Jill at 717-520-2044 or emailed to Jill at jill@mhsaa.org.

They says a lot about MHS and how Johnny O. molded the school and the MHSAA.
Did anyone know that all nominees for the BOD of MHSAA expired on June 11? I can't find anywhere that this was made known to all alumni. I received the mag. yesterday. Not that it matters as the Hershey 500 are as strong as ever. They want the club to be kept private and they changed the by laws to assure that.
In Thy Traditions Dear our alumni president said all is great and they are strong in their association with MHS and getting stronger. (his words) There also was a 2 page spread on Mr. Gurt. Seems like a nice man. I just am courious as to why now? Maybe b/c he won the award from CORE. It sure seems like that was an inside job as one of the BOM of CORE is also under Mr. Gurts instruction, being an executive within MHS. Another question came to mind. Why all the publicity now? Maybe b/c Johnny O and the MHSAA BOD want him to be named as the next president. Our MHSAA president bragged about his meeting with the selection committee and with the BOM. Missing was their message to MHSAA, "YOU LOST"!
Are these the Dear Traditions we all want? I sure hope not.
What I needed most was to love and to be loved, eager to be caught. Happily I wrapped those painful bonds around me; and sure enough, I would be lashed with the red-hot pokers or jealousy, by suspicions and fear, by burst of anger and quarrels.
