Sad News - Mary Jane Belicic's passing!
Mary Jane Krall Belicic, 75, of Susquehanna Twp., died Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Homeland Center.
She was a retired houseparent at Milton Hershey School and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.
Mary Jane was the daughter of the late George and Vilma Jambrosic Krall and is survived by her husband, Matthew J. "Ben" Belicic; two sons, Matthew G. "Ben" Belicic and his wife, Candace of Lower Paxton Twp. and Brian Belicic and his wife, Barbara of Apex, NC; one sister, Mildred Stanasic of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Jason, Adam, Ryan, Nikki, Connor, Brianna and Ally Belicic. She was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline Tucci.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 1 p.m. in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 S. Second St., Steelton with Rev. James M. Lyons, her pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Twp. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton.

Never a nicer woman lived! Mrs. Belicic was one of the sweetest ladies I ever had the pleasure to meet! She was such a wonderful housemother and she truly cared for each child in her home! I and everyone else who lived with the Belicic's during our time in the "Home" were blessed! I ask for everyone to share in prayer for Mary Jane and the entire Belicic family!

I had heard she was not doing well and it was strenuous around the time of Homecoming and only because a few Milts asked him did Ben leave his wifes side to attend the Dinner. The man kept an amazing vigil and I hope he has the strength from God and the spirits with him at this time of need.

I hope Mr. Belicic has alot of family around to comfort him in his loss. Our prayers are with them.
What a sad Item I have found today, The Passing of Mary Jane Belicic! Not being in the area I do not get much news of the school these days So sad to hear of her passing She was truly a loving and wonderful person, second to none
Memories I have a few, unauthorized trips to her mom and dads home in Steelton for home made sausage. Ben and Maryjane taking our band (The Twisters) out on the sly on weekend evenings to play at social functions and teen dances
Trips to the rock and roll shows at the Hershey arena. Both of them letting us seniors drive their car on occasion
I remember the day they arrived at Pinehurst their first assignment, they were in their 20s and little Ben was 2 or 3
Mary Jane is now with our loving Lord in Haven and free of the pain of this world. What a blessing she was to all who's lives she touched
