Phillies in the basement... again.
Did anyone catch Charley Manuel' (Philly's coach) reaction to WIP broadcaster Howard Eskin? They replayed it on Comcast Sportsnet on Monday night and yesterday. Afeter the game during the post game press conference, Howard asked him if he ever gets mad at his players to fire them up , and the coach essentially replied that he does, and why doesn't Howard come to his office and find out? Howard eskin was later in the clubhouse doing interviews and Charley Manuel went after him and had to be restrained. Too funny.
Not funny is the Phillies worst record in baseball so far. Once again they look good on paper, but can't deliver. Seems par for the course with all Philadelphi teams this year.
For all the Phillies fans, and of course the haters. It's been another great season for or Red white and blue. I for one have really enjoyed the season. The ups and downs came and went, and once again we have prevailed into the playoffs. Many of the so called experts didn't see our Phills in the playoffs, let alone the World Series, THEY ARE!
I am heading to Tampa, either Wednesday or Thursday morning to enjoy a game of the World Series. (not sure which day we will get the Tickets yet), but once I know, I will let you know where to look for me in the stands.

That's right my friend, the have won 14 of the last 16 games. While the mets took a big dump in there own bed, Phillies will be waiting two days for the playoffs to start in Philly. 
Go back and read all your negative posts. No faith, the band wagon is passing by don't miss you chance to hop on! :-]

Phillies fans since I knew what balls where, and I am not referring to pre puberty stage exploration. 
Two games back of the Mets now. What's the big deal on a couple of losses. YOu will never see teams undefeated in a season. It's inevitable that there are losses. Players take rests and then pitchers are out of rotation.
It only matters come October, Phillies are going to be there.
So QUIT KNOCKING THEM!!!!!!!!!!!! 
They can't get there if they keep this crap up. Yeah, they pulled one out last night but tonight they lost 8-1 and the other night 13- 1? Their KILLING ME!!!!

When you wrote this almost 7 weeks ago you were right on track. Now the Phils have recently swept the Braves and are only a few games back from the Mets. It's a long season, keep cheering for them, they are making the playoffs this year. See you in October!
