Next Chapter meeting
Just wanted to give some information to those local to Hershey that the next Homestead chapter meeting will be on September 10 and Purcell Friendship Hall. Nothing major is planned for the meeting(no covered dish dinners like last time), BUT, you are more than welcome to bring refreshments of your own. I'm thinking September 10 sounds like a good wings and beer night!! 
Also, the meeting scheduled for October 8 will be a combined meeting with the Harrisburg Chapter, and Millie Landis-Coyle will be attending a presenting a program. I am not sure what it will be about, but I think it's safe to assume it will be on some history of Hershey?
I hope you can take some time out of your busy schedules to attend!

Sorry to disappoint you.
Hate to disagree with you Unc, but this combined meeting was planned long before we started trying to get more young Alumni involved. They just wanted a bigger audience for Millie to give her presentation.

circling the wagons. They ,the Homestead Chapter, fear the young alumni coming in and taking over. Joining forces with another chapter will strengthen their majority. Mark my words.

Perhaps they're testing the idea of combining the Harrisburg and Homestead chapters...? They're geographically close enough to do this.
Just bringing the back up to the top again to remind anyone that's local to Hershey/Hummelstown that tonight is the Homestead Chapters monthly meeting at 7:00 at Purcell Friendship Hall.
