Maybe one of these meetings can get further south in the Marco Island, Miami area so I can attend??
The second meeting will be on Sunday Feb 15th at 10 a.m. The meeting will be located at lot #406 of the Reserved Orange Area inside the infield of Daytona International Speedway. The meeting will cost $115 per person ($90 entry fee and $25 for lunch,dinner, and all the soda, beer, and water you can drink) Children 12 and under can enter the track for free and will be charged $10 for lunch, dinner, and beverages. I promise, you will not be disappointed with the view I can provide you of the 51st running of The Daytona 500 following the meeting and lunch. If you are a NASCAR fan and have never seen this race from the infield, you do not want to miss this event!!!!
Parking is free, and located in lot 7. A shuttle bus will take you from Lot 7 to just accross the street from the speedway. From there you will have to walk to the turn 4 tunnel, purchase your entry ticket, then walk to lot #406 of the Orange Reserved Area. It is approximately a 1 mile walk from the bus stop to our site. Susan or myself will meet chapter members on the inside of the turn 4 tunnel, to help you find our spot. You may also purchase your entry tickets in advance, by calling 1-800-PIT-SHOP. We also have a limited number of tent space available if you would like to come and join us for the entire weekend.

Holy Cow! Duey, this one sounds like a lot of fun!!! Wish I could say I'm still from Florida and make it, but I'll be back in Florida one day soon, and I'll catch it that time!!!

We will be having two meetings in Daytona Beach coming up in February. The first meeting will be on Weds. the 11th at 7 p.m. at The Olive Garden restaraunt located at 1725 W. International Speedway Blvd. Daytona Beach, Florida 32114. It is just East of the speedway. The meeting will be informal, and feel free to order dinner if you like. You can check out their menu at olivegarden.com, and they also have a full bar if you would like to have cocktails.

The official meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m at which time we will elect our new chapter officers for 2010. The meeting will be followed by our annual Texas Hold'em fundraising poker tournament. There will be plenty of food, drink, and fun for all. See you there!!
