Florida Chapter Summer Picnic
Hello Florida Alumni,
Our next chapter meeting will be held in Orlando on Sunday August 24, 2008. We will be having a picnic at the Bill Frederick Park and Pool at Turkey Lake. The park opens at 8 a.m. and has a pool, lake, and lots of hiking trails as well as other activities. So bring the entire family. We have reserved The Carter Center and pavilion for our event, and it will be marked and easily located. Lunch will be served at noon, followed by the chapter meeting at 1:30 p.m. This is an air-conditioned facility!!!!
Please be aware that we will be electing chapter officers at this meeting. It is very important that we have a great turn out. Anyone interested in becoming a chapter officer should contact Duey at 813-748-4597. A copy of the bylaws and duties of each officer can be provided upon request. Your current officers and positions are as follows:

Please bring your favorite food, a covered dish, salad, or dessert for this event. The MHSAA Florida Chapter will provide the drinks, hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, and condiments.
The location of the park is 3401 S. Hiawassee Rd. Orlando, Fl. 32835. Please keep in mind, there is a $4/car fee to enter the park. For more park information you can visit the website at the following link.
