Excuses are tool of incompetence.....
okay who wrote it?????
and is what we had to learn in Galloway's class the whole poem?
Does anyone remember?
i made my kids, the two older ones when they were 6 & 8, memorize it, and everytime they opened their mouths to say an excuse, i just said "Excuses are..." and they had to finish it... sometimes i get to hear in 3 or 4 times in arow with only one But inbetween.....
i know a mean daddy..... But after a while i didn't hear "But Dad / Mom" Mom on the other had would say "I know you didn't just call me ButtMom"
There are variations of it..and the author is anonymous
I've seen a few variations of the poem, but from what I know, it was an "unknown author" that said it.
ExcuseS are tools of incompetence that build monuments of nothing, and those that usually specialize in them are seldom good at anything else. EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES!!!!
But I know the poem because I have it in a frame on my desk at work!

I'm constantly saying this to someone. What can I say? I'm a pain in the tushie! I don't remember much from back in the day, but I remember Mr. Galloway making us memorize that poem. It was the best thing ever!
