exciting new
everyone as of September 17th at 654pm my daughter gave birth to a little girl
7lbs 19 inches long
her name is Halie Jane Bachert and she is beautiful. and when i get the pics from her camera ill post them
bye the way we were told it was a boy but when Halie came out she was a beautiful little girl

i guess im suppose to start squeezing her cheeks they are so chubby. shes a good baby for now until she gets bigger. but the best part is when she bad i get to give her back

I hope the birth went smoothly..well as far as births go. haha You are so blessed, i am anxious to enter that phase of my life but i will have to wait a loong time til then. I have been thinking alot about babies lately, not sure why, just missing having them. But that is what nieces and nephews are for, so don't get all worried on me Murf if you are reading this..

my kids Grandparents have two saying, "if i knew grand kids were this much fun, i would have had them first"
or better yet, "Grand kids are the best, you get to play, spoil and say yes when parents have to say no, and then at the end of the day, you can give the child back to their parents, and get a good nights sleep"
enjoy it Lisa, the only problem with have Grandkids is that you are one step closer to having Great-grands, and they are the ones who can (and mostlikely will) call you granny....

Granny? Better not be for a loooooooonnnnggggg time. My daughter is only 14 and since I'm going to duct tape and chain her legs together I don't think I'll be a granny anytime soon.

Vikki, Being a grandparent is pretty cool. And I don't do booties. I think you will make a cool Grandma someday. (ya know, way out in the future right). I love playin Pap.
