Andrew Joseph Stack '74
As reported by WGAL NBC-8, the person who set his house on fire and later crashed a small plane into an office building in Austin TX earlier today has been identified as Andrew Joseph Stack, MHS '74.
When Joe Stack committed suicide last week by crashing a small plane into an Austin IRS building, Vernon Hunter, 68, was the only victim who died (13 others were injured).
Vernon Hunter had a 20-year military career that included two tours of duty in war.
the only other person to perish through this horrible act. While I have prayed for the Stack family, I included the victim's family in my prayers too.
Vernon was a real patriot not only through his military service to our nation, but also through his devotion to our nation evident by his routine behavior to assist others in need.
I condemn the actions of Andrew yet I have also asked for God to provide him with eternal forgiveness.
I pray for both families to find comfort from this tragedy, as hard as it is to imagine something like this to occur. I feel for friends and members of both families. May God provide them with strength to move forward in a positive manner.
So sad for the Stacks family. God help them get through this.

The strangest thing just happened. Classmates . com just sent me another invite to join. Tom Stack is listed as one of the new members from Milton Hershey School. The weird part I guess was it says he joined 18 February 2010. Which is same day everything happened.
