Where Milton Hershey Alumni Connect

Hello, new Milts, old Milts, & All Milts.

Hello everybody,
My name is Bob kendall,
I was enrolled in MHS in 1968, and i ranaway in 78,
midway thru my junior year. i was a late life baby so i guess thats why i don't have all my marbles..LOL
My dad passed away and my mother was totally blind so
MHS became my new home, I started out at student home Dewey
with mom and pop Fink, then in intermediate division i was in
Dickinson, with the Gearharts, which i would like to say is a dirty
word in my vocabulary, i'm sure some of you know where i'am coming from. Then senior division i was in Ridgeway, with the Murray's.
Mr Murray was an awsome guy a homeboy himself. Mrs Murray, i did'nt care for a whole lot, have my reasons.
So that is my MHS history......
when i left the school, I went back home to N.J.
at that time casino's were just coming to Atlantic City.
So i hurried up and went for me GED, and landed a job at
Resorts which was the first casino to open there.
I stuck with the casino industry untill i was 35.
At 32 i started getting real clumbsy, tripping, dropping things,
nobody could figure out what was wrong with me,
Finally at 35 i was sent to this Neurologist and was dx'ed
with young onset Parkinsons disease,
i'm 48 now, i nolonger can work,i've lost alot of my abilities.
At the time i was dx'ed, my wife left me.
She told me she wanted a man that could take care of her,
not one that she had to take care of,
But thats ok, God has blessed me with the best woman i could
ever have, i met Jodie in a Parkinson's chat room.
Jodie has Parkinson's also, but Life is wonderfull.
We fight this disease together, we are not alone,
Ok enough of me,
I would really like to hear from some of you again,
lets see who remembers me. when i find my pictures i will
put my jr year school pick up and some recents ones.
i'm still just as ugly so you should'nt be suprised.
I look forward to meeting old and new friends here.
and if all goes well i will come back for a homecoming.
well my fingers are really doing tricks on me, so for now
i'll see ya, bob
