poem

Our Dear Friend
(for Harry Lehn)

Death came calling, all mist and shadow,
with his black cloak and foam-bladed scythe.
And our dear friend, stepping through the door
to the other side of eternity,
pulled Death behind him by the feet.

(This was written shortly after Harry passed away)

Untitled poem

Fear the folly of fallen fools
those rebels of conscience in the hallowed halls.
With the Devil in the details and absolute power,
they corrupted absolutely,
forgetting their sacred vow.
Much could be said of their "indiscretions",
but what of we? The fools who follow them.

This is the most recent poem I've written
