Almost unpacked
internet is up,phone is being hooked up and I'll have cable before the end of the day.
Can't wait to share some stuff about the house.
I feel like I won the lottery.
The past couple of days has been projects,getting a washer/dryer,fixing the kitchen sink,etc.
Just had our first phone call in about a half an hour ago and got our first mail yesterday.
Plenty of for sale signs around the area up here....be forewarned I'm on the rez.
I'll post the funny stories later,today we're gonna change the address on our license's and tackle more boxes.
I'm so happy to hear the unpacking is going well. As you know, I am pretty used to moving...got the unpacking thing down, that's for sure. 
Sounds like you'll be all settled in before long. I just wanted to add that I am sooo happy for you! I know you are going to love this home!
Unpacking the boxes is not an emergency.

I love this retro house. It was built in 1964 and you can tell. Windows in the bathroom instead of exhaust fans. It's interesting to see the top of your garage roof while in the shower. An exhaust fan has been installed.
The house had been shut up for a while; so the full basement smelled like mold and the floor was wet. Bought a dehumidifier from his brother and now have a dry basement with a slight bleach smell.
What I love the most about this house are my light switches and outlets. I have upside down outlets,honest. The big hole is on top and the vertical lines are on the bottom. Some of my light switches are at the top to turn off and at the bottom to turn on.
You know what....I wouldn't have it any other way...for now.
The cable,phone and internet came yesterday so I'm still in 2009.
