Another Snow Day!

I am in a winter wonderland. The gray streets of Havertown and Philadelphia are snow covered and silent. It reminds you of what heaven will be like.
Last night in the blowing snow I ran 8 miles. I tried to meet up with the Delco Road Runners but as usual I was late! So I ran as fast as I could but I didn't see them. The wind seemed not so bad, keeping my head down so it wouldn't blow in my eyes. So I ran on by myself, into Ardmore than into Bryn Mawr and Haverford College. Hardly any cars on the road, I had the world to myself.
Then I saw the DELCO runners! I couldn't believe it, I caught up with them. I shouted out and they waited up for me. I love running with other people so I was really happy.
So we four ran back to Havertown, I had to work a little bit because they are all fitter than I am. I love Thursdays nights. Then at the top of the bus route we parted ways because I had to run 2 more miles.
I am still training for marathons and my mid week runs are 5-8-5. I need my marathon goal because I am a lazy sort who will not train with out a big scary goal to get me moving.
